processor බලය, RAM ප්‍රමාණය සහ Storage සීමිත නිසා සාමාන්‍ය ඩෙස්ක්ටොප් පරිගණකයක් මෙන් භාවිතා කිරීමට මෙය සුදුසු නොවේ. භාවිතා වන විදුලි ප්‍රමාණය අඩු නිසා විශේෂ අවශ්‍යතා සඳහා සුදුසු වේ.
ඇතුලත FAN හෝ කරකැවෙන හාඩ් ඩිස්ක් ආදිය නොමැති බැවින් භාවිතයේදී කිසිදු ශබ්දයක් පිට නොවේ. එබැවින් නිදන කාමරයක උවද භාවිතා කළ හැක.

This is not a normal desktop computer but a thin client. These are generally used to connect to more powerful computers via remote desktop software. However, it is possible to install Linux based operating systems and use these for other purposes easily (examples: electronic projects, home automation, home proxy server, home asterisk VOIP server, wifi access point with added wifi dongle, backup server with added storage).
Due to the limitations of processor power, RAM and storage, these systems are generally not used as normal desktop computers.
Low electricity consumption enables these to be used for special purposes.
No noise is generated since there are no internal fans or rotating hard disks. So it is possible to use these even in a bedroom.
